Site improvements project on the campus of Ladson Elementary School. Consisting of demolition, additional sidewalks, storm drainage, and fire access road.
Waterford Townhomes Phase 2B
SILD was the selected site contractor on this residential development. Worked consisted of clearing, preparing multiple home sites, water services, sewer services, storm drain, asphalt paving, and curb.
North Rhett Storm Drain Improvements
SILD was the selected General Contractor for the North Rhett Drainage Improvements. The objective of this project was to provide a better drainage system at an active shipping facility.
Dupont Office Shell Building
SILD was the site contractor on this project located in West Ashley, South Carolina. Scope of work included converting and existing storage yard into a fully function office site.
Fins Carwash
This site was the previous home of a restaurant and laundromat, being converted into a carwash site. After demolition of existing facitilites, SILD installed new storm drainage, sewer service, and water service.
CSU Drainage Improvements
The goal of this project was to increase drainage capacity of existing storm drain, while adding additional drainage to the campus. The existing 3 acre drainage lake, had to be lowered several feet in elevation, to deepen the lake.
Baker Motor Parking Lot
An underground retention system was installed in the parking lot, receiving the drainage from the new storm drain system. Associated work consisted of installing curb inlets, catch basins, and reinforced concrete pipe.
West Ashley Library
The site package consists of clearing and grubbing an existing tract. Removing several thousand cubic yards of unsuitable soils, and replacing these soils with structurally sound fill.
Mercedes Benz Marshalling Yard – Storm Drain
Scope of work included installing large diameter reinforced concrete pipe, inside existing outfall ditches. Requiring several large excavators, and wheel loaders to deliver on schedule.
St. Andrews Church Expansion
This project is an expansion of an existing church in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Work consists of removing existing trees, utilizing arborists and large excavators, to safely remove the trees without damaging the surrounding buildings and houses.
Brighton Park Commercial Ponds
SILD was the selected general contractor for this project, located in Nexton, South Carolina. This project was an early site package for a commercial property, where the objective was to provide additional drainage and earthwork for a 9 acre site.
Cane Bay YMCA – Storm Drain
This project consisted of constructing a new recreation facility in the Cane Bay development. This was new drainage install consisting of over a mile of drainage pipe and 65 drainage structures.
Moultrie Middle School Addition
This is a construction addition of an existing middle school in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. The earthwork consisted of prepping building pads for several additions around the campus.
